It Started With My Daughter
When my daughter was born with extremely dry skin, I found myself looking more closely at the products I was putting on her skin.
As a pharmacist, I had spent years learning about medications, preservatives, additives, and their effects. I wanted something simpler for my baby's skin.
So I decided to make my own body butter.
That first little jar eventually became the beginning of Reem & Rose.

The Story Behind Reem & Rose
Reem & Rose began with a mother, a baby, and a desire to make a better choice for her skin.
When my third daughter was born, she had extremely dry skin with noticeable dry patches. By that time, I had become increasingly conscious of the ingredients in the products I used on my family's skin. As a pharmacist, I have spent years learning about medications, preservatives, additives, and the ways different ingredients can affect the body. I wanted to be especially thoughtful about what I put on my baby's delicate skin.
So, instead of reaching for a commercially available product, I decided to make my own body butter.
I researched different recipes, carefully selected the ingredients, and made my very first jar of body butter at home. With consistent use, I began noticing a difference in how moisturized my daughter's skin felt. Over time, her skin no longer felt as dry as it had before.
Today, I don't need to use the butter every day. I typically apply it once or twice a week or after her shower to help lock in moisture.
What started as something I made for my daughter soon became something I shared with the people I love. Over the years, I gifted jars to family and friends, and I consistently heard how much they enjoyed using it on their own dry skin.
After more than two years of making and using this body butter with my family, I realized that this was something I wanted to share beyond our home.
And that's how Reem & Rose came to life.
Reem & Rose is rooted in something very personal to me: being intentional about what we put on our skin, choosing ingredients thoughtfully, and creating products by hand with care.
What began in my kitchen for my daughter has grown into a small-batch skincare brand that I hope can become part of your family's self-care routine too.
